On Aug 6th, the staff of the Christian Blue Network attended The Fest, an all day, free Christian music festival held annually in Cleveland . It was a tremendous event, and we’ve had the privilege of sponsoring The Fest for several years now. I’d highly recommend you make plans now to attend next year’s event with your family (we had nine Geis family members in attendance this year), where you can enjoy the great Christian music, booths, kids area and food.
One of the highlights of the event was the debut of our new company mascot, Trusty the Lion. It really was amazing to see how Trusty engaged with the crowd, young and old alike (see pictures below). Trusty was the center of dozens of photo ops, and “Trusty the Lion” coloring sheets were passed out, for a contest in which winners received Chick-fil-A gift cards.
The idea of Trusty the Lion mascot came from our initial brand launch meetings for TrustBlueReview.com early in 2016, but just now became a reality. We chose a lion mascot because of its association with Jesus, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, and Aslan (the lion from the Chronicles of Narnia). The lion is the leader of the pride/family, a protector, and we at the Christian Blue Network take seriously our role to protect the consumer by featuring trustworthy Christian owned and operated businesses in our print directory, website, and mobile app.
In addition, Trusty provided great fun for all ages, so be on the lookout for him at events in your area in the near future.
