What first inspired you to get into your line of work? And what motivates you to do the work you do still today?
For as long as I can remember, I always knew that I wanted to be a business owner. I fell into the plumbing world as a young man, not knowing that it would turn into a career where my dreams would come to fruition. I am good with my hands and I love to problem solve, so plumbing has ended up being the perfect fit for me as I am always being challenged with a new problem to solve. I am a people person- so I really enjoy helping and getting to know my customers.
How did you come to faith in Christ?
I attended a public school system through the early elementary years. Some friends of mine attended Dayton Christian and I remember begging my parents to send me there because of some bad experiences I was having. I started attending Dayton Christian in 5th grade and that’s where the Holy Spirit began working on me. I was saved in 6th grade. I am so thankful for the teachers that poured their lives into their students. It was the Christ-centered influences at that lead me to faith in Jesus.
How does your faith impact the way you do business?
The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. Glorifying and honoring Him in all that I do is what He asks of me. I pray that I am humbly serving Him in all things, including turning wrenches.
What ministry/cause do you champion and why?
My wife and I work with the youth at church. I enjoy being with students and I have a special place in my heart for wanting to lead them.
