  • How is your business different from others in the same line of work? How does that difference benefit your customers?

Franklin Heating was started after I had been in the heating, air conditioning and refrigeration field for twenty years. I took that experience and designed a business that was extremely customer-focused. Every day we continue to evaluate our service around the goal of customer satisfaction.

Our services are more diversified than most HVAC companies. In addition to counting on us for your heating, air conditioning and commercial refrigeration needs, we service and install whole-house humidifiers and air purifiers, hot water heaters (including tankless instantaneous units), pool dehumidifiers, restaurant equipment, and permanently-installed, automatic, whole-house generators.   • How does being a Christian affect how you conduct your business?

In addition to financially supporting local initiatives to improve our community, we provide service to many local churches at the best price possible. We also participate in programs to help seniors and the less fortunate whenever possible. Our customers should know that we don’t subscribe to the philosophy of advertising a super low price to “get our foot in the door.” Our labor rates are fair and our equipment prices are, on average, on the lower end of the scale. This means that our advertising budget isn’t as high as our competitors, and we rely on word of mouth from our satisfied customers.

  • What is one interesting thing about you or your business that most people would not know?

I already mentioned that Franklin Heating is extremely customer-focused. But the way we make that happen is by focusing on our employees. When customers take the time to give feedback or reviews, we print that and place it on the bulletin board for our entire team to see. We take time to read each and every one of those messages. It is a great opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate outstanding service and look for ways to improve. Franklin Heating technicians and installers take a real sense of ownership of each job – and customers can tell the difference.

They ask questions and appreciate the extra time that we take to consider all sides of a situation on their behalf.
